Foundation Strategy:
Emergency Program:
The emergency program aims to provide immediate assistance to affected beneficiaries. Rapid and effective response to emergency situations, including disaster preparedness and early response, plays a vital role in fulfilling humanitarian needs and reducing risks and burdens on the affected population.
Environment and Climate Change:
Our foundation places a great deal of importance on climate-related issues. We engage in efforts related to climate change and adaptation, as greenhouse gas emissions and rising temperatures pose a real threat to our planet. Protecting the environment and mitigating climate change are critical goals that require strategic partnerships with various stakeholders, including government bodies, civil society, international organizations, the private sector, and local communities. Our foundation incorporates climate and sustainable development into all its interventions, with an internal and external team of experts focused on climate-related issues.
Healthcare:
Providing adequate healthcare reduces daily fatalities resulting from the absence of minimum healthcare services. Therefore, our foundation places significant emphasis on healthcare and improving its services. Healthcare is considered an investment in human capital and one of the essential goals of sustainable development. It is impossible to achieve societal development without ensuring quality healthcare services for all individuals.
Education:
Quality education is the fourth goal of sustainable development and the primary pathway to achieving comprehensive economic, social, cultural, and environmental development. Our education program seeks to expand its reach and ensure quality education based on the standards followed by advanced countries. Education is closely linked to other aspects of our foundation,s work, such as livelihood and empowerment programs, as it equips beneficiaries with the necessary skills to manage their projects and sources of sustainable income.
Security and Peace:
Conflict factors, insecurity, weak institutions, and limited access to justice still present significant threats to sustainable development. There is a reciprocal relationship between achieving security and peace and attaining sustainable development. Therefore, humanitarian response in the fields of security and peace is of utmost priority, especially in communities plagued by ongoing conflicts or exposed to disasters. Our foundation aims to contribute to community revitalization after crises, providing immediate assistance to the affected population and aiding in the recovery process so that they can return to their normal lives.
Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation:
Economic growth contributes significantly to poverty reduction in all its forms. Given the current situation in Yemen, where the majority of the population has lost their jobs and sources of livelihood due to the conflict, NEAMA Foundation have designed a program aimed at economic growth and poverty reduction. This program involves mobilizing resources for livelihood and economic empowerment projects, particularly targeting the most impoverished communities. Economic empowerment projects span various sectors, including agriculture, fisheries, crafts, industry, and animal husbandry. The presence of economic development projects directly contributes to the national economic growth and poverty alleviation in all its forms.
